HMCS Halifax Leaving Halifax Jan 01 / 2021
On Junuary 01 at 1145 Atlantic Time HMCS Halifax dropped her lines and set sail.She's left her home port of Halifax, Nova Scotoa for a 6 month deployment as part of #OpREASSURANCE
Operation Reassurance is part or our NATO assurance and deterrence measures.
These measures aim to reinforce NATOs collective defence.
It also shows the strength of Allied solidarity.
